Breatherapy is committed to improving people’s lives through the health benefits of aromatic plants in combination with innovative technology. Breatherapy, a brand from Minnesota-based Bioesse Technologies, was created by father and son team, Mark and Aaron Theno. Mark created the patented tab concept with help from his son Aaron, a certified aromatherapist. Mark’s vast packaging knowledge combined with Aaron’s unique talent with essential oils allowed them to answer the call for an easier-to-use delivery method for aromatherapy essential oils.

Breatherapy started much like any other small company, in a basement with a small prototype machine making patches for one client: a hospital. The only problem they faced was when the orders started to grow and they needed a bigger, more automated machine. So the Theno’s built a custom-made patch machine and acquired a machine for their specific packaging needs in order to manage and oversee the whole process from their home base in Minnesota.
The ultimate goal for launching Breatherapy is simple: help people help themselves through aromatherapy. Drugs are great for certain situations, but there is a place in this world where people can be helped naturally. Breatherapy started selling their tabs to hospitals initially to get the buy-in from medical professionals and clinical aromatherapists. The aromatherapy tabs are common alternative therapies offered for an array of medical needs like calming the body before a surgical procedure. Hospitals across North America use aromatherapy tabs as does The Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
Breatherapy’s current focus is to provide aromatherapy to everyone who needs help with anxiety, nausea, headaches, stress and more. People want a portable, easy-to-use, easy to understand product that actually makes them feel better.
